The Educators’ Network for Social Justice and other community organizations invite educators and community members interested in issues of race and social justice in education to attend this outstanding conference.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Keynote Speaker, Dr. Kevin Kumashiro, president-elect of the National Association for Multicultural Education and author of Bad Teacher! How Blaming Teachers Distorts the Bigger Picture (Teaching for Social Justice), among other articles and books.
  • Three interactive workshop sessions with practical information, theoretically grounded, that is readily applicable in PK-12 classrooms.
  • Displays and materials from sponsoring organizations.
  • Networking opportunities with other educators.
  • A day to re-energize and re-focus your work with students!

Registration will include lunch and continental breakfast.
